As most of you know we have had a terrible loss in our family. My father inlaw Ross McMackin passed away on Feb,18,2008. He will always be with us in spirit but he is soarly missed. It has taken me a little while to write about him, as his death was unexpected and diffecult. We are trying to pick up the peaces and move foward. It is more difficult than I could have imagined. There doesn't go a day that we don't expect him to come down the stairs with a news update, or the weather forcast. Every morning that Brad leaves to work, he almost forgets half the things he needs, because Ross is not there to check off the list. We here a funny story and think "I need to tell Ross that one." as soon as the thought hits we realize that he is gone.
The house feels empty. Even though his room is untouched, we know he is not going to come home.
We have so many loving family members and friends! I want to thank you all. even if you were not able to be at the services. We felt you there in our hearts and know that you love and support us. For those of you that did attend, Thank you! Especially if you stood up to speak, I couldn't have planned for it to go so well.
I will right again soon when things are better. If you are reading this you should know that I love you. But if you had a doubt here you go again, I LOVE YOU!!!
